Proof of Non-Profit Status:
As part of your application, you are required to submit proof of your organization’s non-profit status. Acceptable documents include:

  • IRS Determination Letter (501(c)(3) or equivalent)
  • State-issued non-profit certification or registration
  • Recent tax filings confirming non-profit status (e.g., Form 990)
  • Articles of Incorporation stating non-profit designation

You will have the option to upload these documents as part of the profile update process.

Non-Profit Membership Terms and Conditions
By submitting this form, you agree to the following:

Membership Agreement:

  • As a Non-Profit Member of NLBWA-IE, you agree to actively engage in programs, events, and initiatives that support the organization’s mission to empower Latina entrepreneurs.
  • Your membership is valid for one year from the date of approval and is non-refundable.
  • Membership benefits are exclusive to your organization and may not be transferred or shared without prior approval from NLBWA-IE.

Proof of Non-Profit Status:
You agree to provide verification of your organization’s non-profit status, such as:

  • IRS Determination Letter (501(c)(3) or equivalent)
  • State-issued non-profit certification or registration
  • Recent tax filings confirming non-profit status (e.g., Form 990)
  • Articles of Incorporation stating non-profit designation

Failure to provide valid proof of non-profit status may result in a delay or denial of your membership application.

Privacy Policy:

  • Your organization’s information will be securely stored and used solely for NLBWA-IE purposes, including member communication, program updates, and event invitations.
  • NLBWA-IE will not share your organization’s information with third parties without explicit consent.

Conduct:

  • Your organization agrees to uphold the values and mission of NLBWA-IE by fostering respect, professionalism, and collaboration in all interactions with members, partners, and staff.
  • Any inappropriate conduct or behavior that conflicts with the organization’s values may result in a review of your membership status.

Communication:

  • You consent to receive communications related to your membership, including updates on events, programs, and resources.
  • It is your organization’s responsibility to ensure that contact information is accurate and up-to-date to avoid missing critical communications.

Liability:

  • NLBWA-IE is not liable for any outcomes, including but not limited to business decisions, partnerships, or collaborations, resulting from your membership participation.
  • Participation in NLBWA-IE programs or events is at your organization’s discretion and risk.
